Stations of the Cross


Praying the Stations of the Cross-- whether alone or in a group-- is a tradition that has lasted for several centuries in Lent.  Traditionally, you would gather at the church with your whole family (natural and parish), you would walk to stations and read the story of the final hours of Jesus, and say prayers that connect you to the story.

Most churches, unless you attend an already established parish, no longer have the carved or painted stations around.  However, thanks to technology, there are now places that you can either go through the story online or even print and colour your own.
